[BC COVERS] Q&A with Ranka Kustannus

The past December Ranka Kustannus delighted us with an holiday countdown, sharing new music everyday until December 25th. 

The last part of this countdown has been dedicated to Blind Channel. Various artists have chosen a Blind Channel song and cover it, for a total of 8 amazing covers. 

The covers are:

Q. BLIND CHANNEL NEWS: Why did you decide to release Blind Channel covers?

A. RANKA KUSTANNUS: The reasons for doing this are: 

1. showing other talents;

2. showing how great these songs are and they can be done differently;

3. as a tribute and thank you to Blind Channel, they deserve it.

All songs have been recorded in HQ. 

Q. BLIND CHANNEL NEWS: Are you planning to make a CD (with these covers)?

A. RANKA KUSTANNUS: Yes, we are planning to make a CD.

Who is Ranka Kustannus?

Ranka Kustannus is a independent record and publishing company established in 2013 by Riku Pääkkönen, owner of the legendary record label Spinefarm Records (Nightwish, Children of Bodom..).
Blind Channel signed a contract with Ranka Kustannus in 2015.
