Blind Channel has been selected as the figure of Madetoja Music High School of the year 2021.

The Madetoja Award has been given to a person or an ensemble (a former or current student of the school) who has set an example with their actions and careers for young people (Madetoja's students above all). 

The Madetoja Award has been already assigned sixth times in total, five of the six Blind Channel members (Aleksi is not from Oulu) have graduated at Madetoja Music High School.
