[FAN INTERVIEWS] Q&A with Ann-Mari Leinonen

Last year Finnish writer and journalist Ann-Mari Leinonen has worked a couple of times with Blind Channel for some imterviews. 

Amongst them, the interview to Niko and Joel for the Finnish magazine Freestyle about the problem of bullying in schools.

Her book Rakkaus will be published in April, and there will be an interview with Joel as well.

Ann-Mari agreed to answer to some questions. 

Q. BLIND CHANNEL NEWS: you recently interviewed Blind Channel for your article about the problem of bullying in schools, did you interview Blind Channel before?

Joel is involved in my and Meeri Koutaniemi's book, Rakkaus. Because the subject of the book is personal and sensitive, I got to get to know the person outside the public image. We did an interview before the Eurovision Song Contest when Joel was experiencing something unknown. It has been great to see how most of the professional dreams that were discussed in the interview became true.  With it, thousands of fans around the world have discovered Blind Channel's music and they have been able to help people with their music.

Q. BLIND CHANNEL NEWS: What did you like the most about interviewing Blind Channel? 

Heartfeltness and authenticity are perhaps the most important adjectives to describe the collaboration with Joel and Niko, not to mention professionalism. The world needs more people like them who want to help others with their own experiences and thereby give hope for better.

Q. BLIND CHANNEL NEWS: Are you planning to to more interviews with them in the future?

I don’t know if I’ll be interviewing Blind Channel in the future.
