Here some parts from his interview, translated by SALLI MAGDALENA:
"we have a lot of fans in europe. its the best thing we received last year, our fanbase. we've sold around 10 000 tickets to our headline tour. there are a lot of people waiting for us. its grest to be able to bring finnish rock music abroad!"
"covid was the reason we took part in UMK. there are a lot of ither artists that have released huge singles or albums but haavent been able to tour. we just have to wait. its really tough. i try to just take it one day at a time."
"we had a lot of drive and great songs written, but nowhere to perform them. UMK was our last resort. luckily it worked out."
"we were supposed to start our tour with ECB on jan 7th, but it has been postponed to start in april. we'll wait and see what happens. its very frustrating. if we get to do one of our three international tours this year, i'll be very happy."
"we had very young kids and their parents on our gigs in the summer. Then we got feedback from said parents that we shouldnt drink alcohol onstage or on youtube. but i did chug that beer in rotterdam, too."
"our 9 to 16 year old fans are pretty hysteric. its cool but sometimes it makes our life harder. we cant complain though, we cant take this amount of success for granted."
"parents are responsible for what kind of music their kids listen to and what content they consume on social media."
"i'm aware that we have left the contestants some big boots to fill. its very interesting to see what happens. we'll definitely make some popcorn and watch it. but its a relief we dont have to do it again. its a lot of work."
"russia's fanbase is huge. the russian VK community is massive, a lot of people from russia have found us. im really looking forward to those gigs in russia"
